Mike & Karen Johannes and Andy & Reatha Brink came to volunteer for EL Sembrador in Jan/Feb. Both couples were such a great help to us. Mike fixed everything imaginable on campus and Karen was my "girl Friday" who helped with Anna's schooling, in the group kitchen, boys store room, and more. Andy & Reatha are now on their 5th trip to El Sembrador. Andy worked with the hogs putting new floor in the farrowing house and Reatha helped out in the group kitchen and painting all of the classrooms for school to begin. Thanks to both couples for the tremendous amount of help!

It is great to see the pictures and comments in your blog. We had such a great time there in Jan and Feb. Hope all is going well with all the work teams that were scheduled to come there after we left. We have shared our DVD of our trip to Honduras and ElSembrador to quite a few people and each time we do Karen and I have a problem getting to sleep at night. Our minds get busy planning or thinking about doing projects there on the farm, thats a good thing but it is funny we both are in the same boat.
How are the boys doing in school this year?
We are looking forward to our return next Jan 2009.
