Travis is installed as the new El Sembrador Director

Our field director, Terry Hawk, came and presented Travis as the new directors of El Sembrador. Our Bolivian pastor, David Quiroz, then prayed over us to give us wisdom in the new position. We praise God in advance for the big things He is going to do through us as we allow him to challenge us with these new responsibilities.

Sue Behrends Brings us a Team!

We praise the Lord for a special team who came the day we arrived at El Sembrador, August 13th. They have been such a blessing to help us get our house ready to move in to. We had to move five truck loads of furniture from the house to a storage area, put in new kitchen countertop and backsplash, paint the entire house inside and out, clean, (many other misc. things), and then bring all of our belongings into the house. If it weren't for this wonderful team helping us for two weeks, we would have been "waiting" to get into the house for many many weeks. We praise the Lord for awesome teams who come to help us out.

El Sembrador Movie Night

While the group was with us, they helped us put on a fun movie night for the boys. We showed Facing the Giants. The boys really enjoyed the good Christian movie, popcorn, pepsi, and cookies. We hope to continue doing this once a month for them.

Welcome Home!

We began our travels back to Honduras on July 27th. We were able to make it to Honduras by August 3rd. We praise the Lord for safe traveling mercies. We received the warmest welcome from our boys at Escuela El Sembrador. They were ready with arms wide open and had a wonderful WELCOME HOME party for us with Honduran Enchiladas. Each of the ladies on campus used their own money to make the food and bring them to the party.
