Missionary Ladies Retreat

Our field directors wife, Colleen Hawk, along with another missionary, Sherri Murphy put on a special ladies retreat for all of the Honduras missionary ladies. What a wonderful time of spiritual growth we had together. I thank the Lord for the family of missionaries He gives to us!

Special Services

We have special services with the students at least two times a year. This year a group of eighteen came from San Pedro Sula to share with our boys. It was a wonderful time when over forty students either accepted the Lord for the first time or re-dedicated their lives to Him. Praise the Lord for bringing us what we needed at the right time.

Softball Championships

We had eight teams of fourteen to fifteen members each play softball this year. Travis was the all time umpire as his knee is still healing. Lori played on a team, but her team came in 3rd place. Look at the pictures of our first and second place teams with their winning t-shirts.

Police Parade

The police came to El Sembrador and gave several sessions on abuse, drugs, gangs, and arms. Since our students participated, they were invited to march in the police parade along with two other local schools (another private school as well as the agricultural university). We ended at the Eighteen School (a local public school) and a presentation was given of what the police are doing for our community. Our students made us proud! One student, Samuel Nuñez, made us especially proud as he presented the secretary of security of Honduras a special carving made by our students.
