Welcome Home!

We began our travels back to Honduras on July 27th. We were able to make it to Honduras by August 3rd. We praise the Lord for safe traveling mercies. We received the warmest welcome from our boys at Escuela El Sembrador. They were ready with arms wide open and had a wonderful WELCOME HOME party for us with Honduran Enchiladas. Each of the ladies on campus used their own money to make the food and bring them to the party.

Anna was baptized July 19, 2007

The biggest job God gives us as parents is to train our children in His ways. It is our desire to see our children come to know God as their Lord and savior and see them walking with Him even before we can minister to others. Anna accepted the Lord at the young age of three years old during Easter week. It was more than amazing to us when she told us she was ready to be baptized at our home church in the States before we returned to Honduras. Our girls continue to be a great part of our ministry.

Travis' Black Eyes

Travis had a nasty run in today with a 2x6. He got a swollen nose and later two black eyes came too. Travis said people have been so nice to him going into different stores. He is getting better treatment than when he was walking on crutches back in Feb/March.

Please Pray for Travis' Brother and his Family

Please pray for Travis' brother, JT Hawk. He has been in the military for eighteen years now. He is an officer in the air force and serving at the base in Albuquerque, NM. He has been in San Antonio for a month of training. He will be leading a team doing convoys from Kuwait into Iraq. This is going to be very dangerous, especially with all the road side bombing. Please pray for JT's safety. He will be doing this from May 20th through December or possibly longer. Please pray for Mitzi, his wife, and his little girl Summer (2 years old) who will miss him dearly over the next eight months. We appreciate your prayer support.

Hawk Wedding

Travis, Anna, and Ally were in Travis' sister's wedding. Travis was a groomsman, Anna passed out the programs, and Ally was the flower girl.

Since we travel often, we have the opportunity to stay in many people's homes. This past weekend we were in Ohio. Beautiful day to take pictures of our beautiful girls. Lori is enjoying teaching herself to take better pictures, it is easy with these beautiful subjects!
