Lori Speaks in Public Schools

Lori had the opportunity to speak to Marysville Public Schools (near Port Huron, MI) today. It was an awesome opportunity to speak to seven sixth grade classes about culture in Latin America as well as answer any questions they had. Although she wasn't allowed to bring God up, she could give a presentation and allow the children to ask her what she does, why she does it, etc. The kids had so many good questions about Honduras and life in a third world country in general. It was a wonderful opportunity to represent our Lord.

Thanks so much, Lori, for coming to speak at MMS. The students are still talking about your visit a month later. It was wonderful for the students to hear more about a country that is too lightly covered in our curriculum and it was great for me to hear more about Honduras as well. We Americans have SO much to be thankful for...and I am thankful for you :) - Andrea
